UNIANDES will have a relevant part in the project, being one of the pendulum hosts and data providers for the whole network, adding one more latitude to the free access data.
Although all UNIANDES students will benefit from this collaboration in the project, the installation of the pendulum and the corresponding instrumentation will be placed in the Mechanical Engineering and Physics laboratory, and all the support will be provided by experienced professors. The School of Engineering will be part of the consortium involving students of our undergraduate and Master´s program in Mechanical Engineering. We will also plan to involve faculty members and students from the Department of Physics and from the Department of Electronical Engineering.
In particular, we will install and instrument a pendulum according with the specification decided among the consortium participants. We will conduct the measurements and share them with the participant institutions, and we will participate in the data analysis and conclusion of the project.
In the meanwhile we expect to develop academic partnerships for similar projects in the future, so we will promote exchange of students and faculty members.
UNIANDES will be the Project leader of WP5 (Dissemination Activities) and will execute the following activities:
- Educational content;
- Toolkit;
- 1st International Conference (2nd Stage);
- 2nd International Conference (3rd Stage);
- Local Workshops;
- Training Actions;
- Leaflet, roll-ups, posters;
- Webportal and Platform update;
