Universidad De Chile (UC)

The Chile University or Universidad De Chile (UC) is a public university founded in 1842, and is the oldest higher education institution in the country. The Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Sciences of the Universidad de Chile (FCFM), is one of the leading higher-education engineering institutions both nationally and regionally.

Although national in its mission, it is a University with global vision. As a fundamental part of its action, it belongs to numerous international networks and associations and, at the same time, encourages the construction of partnerships at the national, regional and global levels.

In addition, the University has participated in several Erasmus EMA2 programs (Lindo, Eurica and Puedes).

With a strong focus on the Physics and Mathematical areas the University of Chile will work closely with the development of the Project contents, namely via the implementation one pendulum in the University , to collect the data and provide data in one more latitude to the whole consortium.

The UC will also cooperate in the teachers training, and in the dissemination of the Project results and outcomes, compromising to involve it’s academic community and instigating professors and students to participate and be actively involved in the Project actions and activities.
